As the Founder and President of National Capital Funding Ltd., Roger K. McKnight conceived, created, and successfully developed a process to bring a true one-time close construction to permanent loan program to the factory-built and site-built housing industries. He has a diverse background as a mortgage lending consultant and as a homebuilder in the affordable housing sector. From 1988 to 1998 Mr. McKnight was President/Owner of Romak & Associates, Inc., a development/construction firm whose primary focus was to cultivate the concept of affordable housing. Romak & Associates, Inc. constructed single-family affordable housing and provided financing to their customer base via USDA Rural Development, FHA and VA loan programs. He also served as National Director of the National Association of Home Builders. He has been a general partner in limited partnerships where he guided and focused on the development of affordable housing. Mr. McKnight's extensive experience and expertise with one-time close mortgage financing and in the construction and mortgage areas are the company's key strengths. Roger enjoys bass fishing and spending time with his family.
